MaestroHCP

Real Chemistry has developed an artificial intelligence-powered platform to enhance a manual, disjointed part of the “Omnichannel Marketing” process.

The product, MaestroHCP, grew out of recognition of a limitation of next best action decision engines, Elizabeth Beringer, president of Real Chemistry Media, told Fierce. Pharma companies have come up with the solutions to tell sales reps where to spend their time. But the engines lack the subtlety of non-personal promotion, Beringer said.

We had one agent who said, ‘Hey, this doctor should go and read on the website about efficacy. But we can’t say, ‘hey doctor, go to the website,” Beringer said. All the gaps in terms of which channel is going to be the most effective in attracting the physician to the page need to be closed.

Solving the “Last Mile” Problem in Media Investment

Real Chemistry designed MaestroHCP to help fill in those gaps. MaestroHCP deals with “the last mile between a next best action decision engine and all of the media investment, CRM—the other channels that can be orchestrated through partners, like the publishers that we’re working with,” Beringer said.

The product boasts AI functionalities. The AI-powered engine “makes real-time decisions on which channels, which tactics, which creative combinations are going to move the needle,” Beringer said. MaestroHCP is designed to cater to marketers who are not sure about the AI engine’s ability, with Beringer saying he has “great confidence that [the AI engine] will outperform traditional one-to-many sequence setup”.

“One of the largest criticisms that I have always had is, I don’t know what’s in the black box. I don’t know what the inputs are.” I don’t know how to fine-tune it,” Beringer said. Beringer says he believes that by enabling a user to individually integrate AI into each one of the steps in the sequence, MaestroHCP can help promote greater confidence in the technology and uptake of the AI-powered decision engine.

Custom AI Models and Optimization for Maximum ROI

Two models have been developed by Real Chemistry, which are used by clients with MaestroHCP.Amazon Web Services has developed the product, which is offered in two models that clients can use with MaestroHCP. In MaestroHCP, clients can utilize their own AI models. Real Chemistry’s models are “true custom” and not simply rebranded versions of a tool like Claude,” Beringer said, and the team is still working on enhancing orchestration.

“We’re really fine-tuning the investment decisioning and making sure that we can do more with less,” Beringer said. The more that pharma marketers come to us and say, ‘Hey, we need to keep our budget level, but we need to generate more revenue. How are you guys going to help us do this? The more we hear that.” And Maestro is certainly one of our greatest solutions at this time.”

MaestroHCP has been launched by Real Chemistry as an enterprise-level AI-powered platform designed to help pharmaceutical marketers plan, activate, and measure omnichannel engagement with healthcare professionals (HCPs). The platform was announced on October 1, 2026, with a focus on making HCP marketing more personalized, measurable, and efficient.
