Nabla, the creator of an advanced autonomous clinical AI scribe, has embarked on a collaboration with the Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) with a bold mission: to introduce its cutting-edge tool to 10,000 medical professionals in Northern California.

Key Points About Nabla Copilot for Medical Professionals

  • Adopting Nabla Copilot results in significant time savings, with doctors saving 1.5 hours per day due to its efficiency.
  • Doctors typically need to make modifications to less than 5% of the generated notes, highlighting the tool’s accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Nabla offers free access to all physicians for up to 30 consultations per month.
  • Beyond the 30-consultation limit, there is a monthly charge of $120 per provider.
  • Enterprise clients can take advantage of bulk pricing arrangements for Nabla Copilot.

The Nabla Copilot will be available for physicians in various care settings and specialties by the conclusion of the ongoing rollout, which spans multiple weeks. This implementation follows an effective pilot and seeks to decrease administrative burdens, enabling doctors to concentrate on patient care.

The autonomous generative AI tool can capture physician-patient interactions, whether they occur in-person or virtually, regardless of the medical specialty involved. It offers a range of clinical templates, rendering it an all-round solution for healthcare organizations of considerable size. Notably, this tool is user-friendly, allowing for self-onboarding without the need for training, as stated by the startup. Furthermore, it boasts an impressive accuracy rate of 95%.

Alex Lebrun, Nabla’s co-founder and CEO, remarked, “Nabla Copilot’s traction among physicians is a direct result of more than four years of diligent product development by our team of former Meta AI Research engineers who collaborated closely with doctors to anticipate the way AI could transform healthcare delivery. We are proud to partner with Kaiser to improve the lives of thousands of their health practitioners.”

Accessible on mobile, desktop, and through an API, Nabla Copilot can be initiated with a single click. This innovative tool employs a blend of custom models and indistry-spcific language models to document complete provider-patient discussions, conducted in either English or Spanish. Subsequently, it swiftly generates a structured clinical note integrated with Electronic Health Records (EHR), accomplishing this task in under 20 seconds. This remarkable speed positions Nabla Copilot as the quickest medical scribe available in the market.

The startup is actively engaged in the process of integrating with prominent Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, although the details of specific partnerships have not been disclosed as of now. Instead, the firm is offering Nabla Copilot to the customer base of EHR vendors.

Nabla expressed its commitment to enabling all doctors to experience the product, irrespective of their EHR system. To achieve this goal, they engineered the tool to function seamlessly, even in the absence of integration through a browser extension. This feature proves particularly advantageous during video consultations conducted on platforms like Zoom. However, for in-person consultations, Nabla’s effectiveness is enhanced when used on a phone that has EHR integration capabilities
